Welcome to the Missouri Region H website

The Region H Homeland Security Oversight Committee (HSOC), one of nine committees covering the state of Missouri, serves the northwest Missouri counties of Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Holt, Livingston, Mercer, Nodaway, and Worth.

The Region H HSOC is charged with identifying local priorities, capabilities, and coordinating program activities within the region. As one body, the committee makes recommendations to Missouri's Homeland Security Advisory Council for program and equipment priorities.

Committee members are selected for two year terms and are representatives of emergency services providers from various jurisdictions in northwest Missouri.

FY2012 Grant Application Info

February 2012

The FY2012 Homeland Security Grant is now CLOSED.

The Region will have approximately $71,405.08 in available funding.

The deadline for application submissions to Mo-Kan was March 12th, 2012. The committee selected three projects for funding at the regional level. Applications are currently being rolled up and sent to the state. Awards will be announced to the recipients when the grant performance period begins. Thanks to all in Region H who applied.
