Region H 2007 Request for Equipment Bids
Mo-Kan Regional Council invites all interested equipment manufacturers and vendors to bid on the following interoperable communications equipment. Any questions regarding the bid procedure or equipment specs must be submitted in writing to Jackie Spainhower either by E-mail or faxed to 816-233-8498. All parties interested in bidding are encouraged to contact the Mo-Kan office as soon as possible so that answers to posed questions may be distributed to all bidders. Bids must be received in the Mo-Kan office at 1302 Faraon St., Saint Joseph no later than 3 p.m. on July 23, 2008 for consideration.

2007 Equipment Specs: Amendments & Questions/Answers

Deadline Extended: Due to a scheduling conflict, bids will be accepted until Friday, July 25 by 3 p.m. in the Mo-Kan office. The public bid opening will occur shortly after 3 p.m. at the same location. Mo-Kan will be closed for Staff Development on Wednesday, July 23. Equipment Specs have been updated to reflect this change.

Question posed 7/14/08 by Bill Bangerter, Midwest Mobile: Under Other Equipment is the quantity of control stations for Gentry County Emergency Dispatch correct?
Answer 7/14/08 by Jackie Spainhower: No, the specs are incorrect and have been updated to read 1 Console Package. The remainder of the quantities for this item remains the same.

Question posed 7/14/08 by Bill Bangerter, Midwest Mobile: Under Accessories for Motorola Equipment, there are two different sizes of belt clips listed (2.25" and 2.5") that have the same part number. Is this correct?
Answer 7/14/08 by Jackie Spainhower: After further clarification, all belt clips for Motorola equipment should be size 2.25", for a total of 54 2.25" belt clips. This has been corrected on the equipment specs.
